REMOVING THE BARRIERS TO PARTICIPATION

You have probably been in a meeting and sensed that the group is not being entirely open: people are not expressing their opinions nor challenging others’. It is a natural human instinct but it often gets in the way of progress. The Collaborate App, using provided iPads to harness ideas and opinions anonymously gives everyone the opportunity both to contribute and, constructively, to challenge each other to find a way forward.

FLEXIBLE AND SOPHISTICATED VOTING

At the heart of the Collaborate App is a live voting engine which supports many different voting styles. The voting tool has been used for everything from fun quizzes to complex multi-criteria voting. Our team works with you to define what vote style will work best for you.

VALUE-ADDED FEATURES

In addition to the collaboration tools at the heart of the platform, the Collaborate App facilitates networking through participant profiles and messaging, supports learning through slide sharing with note-taking and supports the event organiser through sharing meeting content, personalised agendas and in-app alerts.

RAPID RESULTS

All ideas and results are available immediately at the end of each day in a Word or Excel report. We can provide additional analysis on workshop outputs upon request.

SUPPORTING RAPID DECISION-MAKING

We have built the Collaborate App to support a number of different group collaboration techniques which facilitators and consultants are used to using. These include hackathon, world café, open space and structured problem-solving. The list of methodologies we support grows every year.

FREE-TEXT CAPTURE

The Collaborate platform manages the collection and sharing of free-text ideas in a unique way: participants’ ideas can be anonymous, attributed or grouped and ideas can be shown on the main meeting screen unedited, or approved. We can control what participants can see on their iPads: either their own ideas, their table’s or team’s ideas or the whole group’s ideas sorted either by newest, or most liked ideas first.

MAXIMUM PARTICIPATION

By their nature, Collaborate events share sensitive data and ideas and it is imperative that participants can participate with no hassle and glitch-free. We provide everything to support this requirement: from iPads issued to each participant or team, a dedicated app server and Wi-Fi network which requires no internet or venue Wi-Fi and an expert team onsite to advise, manage the interactive activities and main screen feedback and upload content.

SECURE & RELIABLE

Collaborate typically operates on our own secure, self-sufficient, closed, Wi-Fi network. This means that the ideas and responses submitted and shared through the iPads never leave the meeting room.
