APPROACH
Through careful consideration of all elements of the event programme, we used our Event App to allow festival-goers to easily learn about all of the events taking place at the festival, and efficiently plan their time to maximise their event experience.
The app allowed complete flexibility for the event organisers, as instant updates and changes could be made to content and the programme – a feature not previously possible with a paper-based programme.
Our team provided comprehensive training and content support prior to the festival, as well as remote support during the event. The app also allowed the client to access it and send announcements or post updates independently.
A pre-event email sent to all registered festivalgoers detailed instructions to download the app. Clear signage was placed throughout the college to encourage visitors to download the app during the event.
The event sessions were viewed 40,000 times and over 525 hours of active time in the app was recorded. Over 1,300 unique sign-ins were created, allowing approximately 5,000 attendees access to vital event information.
