We worked closely with the event team and established the objectives of the congress early on, becoming an extension of their team pre-event and during. We recommended using our smart LED wearable badge paired with a powerful engagement platform, to provide an all-in-one solution to streamline event management and encourage attendee networking.
Smart Wearable badges were instrumental in encouraging conversation and acting as an icebreaker. The interactive badges added an element of fun. Attendees held their badges together, clicked the button and each badge lit up once the contact details had been exchanged. Attendees were able to view all their interactions in real time via an event app.
Management of attendees through light
During the pre-event registration process, all attendees were asked what their specialisms were within the association they worked for. The attendees were grouped together by specialism and divided into colour coded groups. At the opening of the event, attendees’ badges flashed their designated colour, allowing attendees to easily identify peers in similar roles and encourage networking and the sharing of information.
Organisers wanted to manage the flow of attendees so they could move seamlessly from one session to the next. The light paging feature of the badge notified attendees when it was time to the move to the next session or when a break was ending.
Lighting up the party!
The event team loved the spontaneous use of the badge’s LED lights at the event’s gala dinner, which were programmed to light up during a live music performance following dinner. This elevated the party atmosphere and created a truly memorable evening for attendees.
Organisers used the passive tracking feature of the Smart Wearable solution to track how many people entered a session. Organisers were able to evaluate the effectiveness and popularity of each session, providing valuable insights for future events.
We worked very closely with the event team throughout the event lifecycle, becoming an integrated part of their team, as well as providing additional on-site support during the event.
